university campaign + brand design

#IAmGallaudet was the university’s campaign that focused on exploring the stories of various Gallaudet community members.

As part of the university’s in-house creative and marketing team, I worked with team on filming community members to share their story with many different angles to show that there are many different ways to be deaf. The campaign reflected the importance of the space Gallaudet provides for the growth of successful individuals from the deaf, hard of hearing, and signing community.

Branding

The goal was to personalize the logo, especially “Gallaudet”, to encourage community members to share their personal journey stories. A handwriting typeface adds a personal touch, with each filmed individual having their own #iam accompanied by personalized words reflecting their unique journey.


Campaign Kick-Off Film

The campaign kicked off with a teaser film at the university president’s welcome home presentation and continued to be featured as part of the theme for the entire academic year.
